How did you meet?
Their mutual friends, convinced the two would be a perfect fit, enthusiastically interviewed them and then introduced them at their home. Rebecca had shared her heart’s desire to marry someone who also wanted to serve Jesus among unreached people in the Middle East, and had been praying for someone the Lord had called and was willing to go. Timothy, had likewise been praying that the Lord would provide a wife who was called to serve and willing to go anywhere in the world among the unreached. They met in person in December 2025, and thus began something beautiful. Since it was a long-distance relationship, friends on both sides kindly kept things moving along by hosting visits and speaking highly of what “exceptional people” they both are. As they got to know each other more and mutual love and respect grew, both realized they wanted to embark on a beautiful adventure with Jesus as one.
Where are you both from?
Rebecca grew up on a Hutterite colony near Brandon, Manitoba, and has lived in various places across Canada, including more than a decade in Vancouver. She is now based in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. Timothy was born in London and has spent much of his life moving between Germany and England. He is now based in Witney, UK.
What’s next?
Rebecca and Timothy look forward to spending their first year of marriage in the UK. During this time they will also be preparing to return to the Middle East. Here in the UK, they hope to apply for support raising and mobilization, as well as continue in local ministry outreaches to love and bless their community.
